Pavilion of the Republic of Moldova is ready by 90%, left to do only work on the internal arrangement.
Yesterday was tested outdoor installation "Solar Flower," which is a system of mirrors mounted next to a glass of pavilion Moldova. Every day for six months, mirrors will turn toward the sun, reflecting the sun's rays on the mirror cube, swivel at the top of the glass pavilion. With this external and internal space of the pavilion will be filled with sunlight, keeping the magic effect throughout the day. The motto of the Moldovan Pavilion became the slogan "Let the light shine - solar energy, the power of the land, food for the people."
Here's the authors of the idea of the Moldovan Pavilion, the contemporary artist Paul Breile.

Moldova pavilion... Work in Progress !...
...and installation of the Sun tracking device :
Sun Flower — the Outdoor Facility
Outside the pavilion (glass cube) there is a constantly moving (rotating) triple cube of mirrors. The cube is illuminated by mirrors, located in the corners of the roof. The mirrors compose a system that follows the movement of the sun throughout the day and reflects the sunlight to the cube above the pavilion. Thus, the whole area of the pavilion, both inside and on the outside, will be bathed in a solar "rain", this magical effect perpetuating throughout the day.

Moldova pavilion... THE Website !
Moldova at Expo 2015
Moldova aims to participate in World Expo with its own pavilion for the first time in its history. So far, Moldova has participated twice in similar exhibitions in 2000 in Hanover, Germany and in 2010 in Shanghai, China. Both times Moldova participated in pavilions that were shared with other countries.
The Pavilion
The entire building is the result of collaboration between the visual artist Pavel Braila and architects from Gorgona studio. Moldova’s pavilion is a facility that combines a triad of elements: sun flower, JOC – pure energy of life and celestial Moldova.

Pavilion Project for Moldova... by Gorgona
Theme "Shine the Light - Energy of Sun, Energy of Earth, Food for people"
The Architecture of the Pavilion
An enticing and inspiring shade of apple green is the key feature of the project developed for Moldova by Gorgona Architecture & Design Studio together with the artist Pavel Braila. From its furnishings to the large colored beams that surround the structure, extending over a total exhibition space of 747 square meters, everything is modeled to recall the shapes of a large sliced apple, evoking the idea of freshness, as a flavor and characteristic that Moldova wishes to share with its visitors.
The long corridor flanked by green plants, crosses a large glass cube to convey care for the environment, innovation and humanity, and leads visitors to the biozone of Moldovan agriculture, where they can learn about Moldova’s traditions, food and local wines.
The central element of the pavilion is a solar flower, placed on top of a large glass cube. It is an installation of mirrors consisting of thousands of facets that capture and reflect sunlight, re-projected in thousands of bright spots. Other highly evocative elements include: planetary constellations that visitors encounter upon entering the pavilion, and a giant screen where visitors can watch the movie, JOC. The film, made specifically for Expo Milano 2015 by Pavel Braila, tells the story of the legendary group JOC, the oldest and most famous folk dance group in Moldova, which was formed in 1945, and which has, over the years, given more than 7,000 performances all over the world.
