Presentation of Intesa Sanpaolo Pavilion for Expo Milano 2015 and a Rich Program of Initiatives


This morning in the picturesque setting of the Gallerie d’Italia at Piazza Scala in Milan there was the presentation of the distinctive values ​​and goals of the partnership between Intesa Sanpaolo and Expo Milano 2015 . Intesa Sanpaolo as Official Global Partner of Expo Milano2015 will have a dedicated area within the Exhibition Site : a structure that overlooks the Decuman of nearly 1,000 square meters, designed by Michele De Lucchi , built with green and recyclable materials, which are inspired by natural elements and evoke the themes of ecology and sustainable development. It is characterized by a covering made ​​according to an ancient technique of building with "shingles", which uses traditional grooved wood pieces. Visitors can experience multi-sensory, immersive and interactive art installations, due to the presence of important works of art owned by the Bank, chosen for their connection to the theme of Expo Milano 2015. A full schedule of events will enliven the Pavilion and will be enriched by activities in the area dedicated to families, children  and the young and old. Inside of the exhibition space there will be meeting places reserved for the audience of Expo Milano 2015, and the businesses of Italian excellence from the various regions.



A presentation in particular: Boccioni and Workshops at Porta Romana

Inside of the exhibition space of Intesa Sanpaolo there will be a piece from the Group's collection  "Officine a Porta Romana" by Umberto Boccioni. The exhibition will enhance the work and the artistic path, creating an event of great visual impact thanks to interactive projections that celebrate the painting. In addition there is an art installation by Studio Azzurro, which expresses the values ​​of the Bank's attention to the area, their commitment to the country's growth and enhancement of the Italian cultural heritage.
