Presenting Greece: the exhibition within the initiative "Roma verso Expo"

As part of Rome verso Expo, February 16 to 26, Greece appears at the Vittoriano (Central Hall, Ala Brasini) with the exhibition "Aegean: the creation of an archipelago," which comes from the fossilized forest museum Isle of Lesbos. The exhibition tells the story through the Aegean archipelago artifacts and fossils of redwood trees and palm trees, and small deinoteri elephants lived and disappeared in the course of cosmic upheavals. Through photographic materials, electronics applications and interactive projections, are revealed in the monuments of geological eras that reflect the beauty of the lands and islands of the Archipelago and the evolution over millions of years. The exhibition is free entry and is open every day from 9:30 to 19:30.The inauguration will take place Monday, February 16, at 19.30, in the presence of HE Ambassador of Greece in Italy Themistoklis Demiris.







Greece at Expo 2015 in Cluster Bio-MediterraneanGreece is housed in the Cluster Bio-Med, which tells in an easy and immediate the spirit of the Mediterranean cuisine, the value and significance of the meeting, the coexistence and integration. The project was inspired by the image of the Mediterranean city and is built around a large square that houses four semi-covered structures dedicated to the distribution of typical products of this region. The floor reflects different shades of blue, recalls all the nuances of the sea that embraces nations hosted on the Cluster.
