For the world exhibition EXPO 2015 in Milan we prepared a modular gallery with a swimming pool. The pavilion represents both a house and an experience. Its form and function are based on a plot of national and international exhibition – “Food for the planet, energy for life”. We also took into account the climatic condition of summer in Milan. From the beginning we had in our mind the future uses of pavilion when the World’s Fair is over. The lower part of the pavilion may continue to be use as a restaurant and swimming pool, the top two floors can be use after simple modification as kindergartens, art gallery or student accommodation.
