ExpoExpress continues its journey through Italy to promote the Universal Exposition. The exhibition train will arrive tomorrow, September 13, on Platform 1 West of Bari Central Station. This stop will be presented by Michele Mario Elia, CEO of Gruppo FS Italiane; Roberto Arditti, Director of Institutional Relations Expo 2015; Daniela Cerrato, Director of Digital properties, female mass market, Mondadori.
At the same time, the 78th Fiera del Levante, one of the most attractive exhibition events nationwide will be taking place in Bari.
Open from 11.30 to 17.30 aboard the three train carriages that make up the train exhibition – Casa Expo, Live Expo and Food Expo – there will be many initiatives and free showcooking events for adults and children promoted by Donna Moderna, Grazie, TuStyle, Starbene e Sale&Pepe.
Events not to be missed are the two interviews organized by Grazia the weekly magazine, in the Live Expo carriage, where at 12.00 noon the public can meet and get to know the actress Rosanna Banfi and at 12.30, the entrepreneur Luciana Delle Donne, CEO and founder of the brand Made in Carcere, and an Ambassador of WE-Women for Expo.
At 15.00 aboard the Live carriage will be a meeting organized by Starbene on the theme “Il volontariato, una passione che può diventare una professione: l'empatia che premia chi dà e chi riceve”. (Volunteering, a passion that can become a profession: empathy that rewards those who give and those who receive.) The speakers will be Daniela Poggiolini, psychologist, hypnotherapist, family mediator, systemic family counsellor and president of IKOS, a School of Psychotherapy for doctors and psychologists; and Dr. Sergio Giannulo , Director of the Lega del Filo d'Oro Residential Center of Social Health in Molfetta.
Ending at 17.30 visitors can participate in a Donna Moderna casting to become the protagonist of one of the features of the fashion magazine, with beauty tips by image consultants BioNike.
Throughout the day, TuStyle will invite the public on ExpoExpress to express and share their experiences on work, future, family and friendship using the hashtag #WhatWomenShare and their commentary will be entered into a digital wall set up aboard the train and the gallery will be published on TuStyle.it.
The Live Expo carriage will also host a video box ExpoExpress where the public can participate in the mobile journalism project "Possible Dreams ", the first web series by Donna Moderna made using smartphones only and dedicated to the stories by people who have managed to fulfill their dreams with courage and creativity. The best videos will be shown on Sognipossibili.donnamoderna.com.
In the Food Expo carriage, Cooking is king in a series of free activities by Sale&Pepe that guides adults and children in an evocative sensory journey through the flavors and recipes of the Italian territory and the specialties of the countries of Expo Milano 2015. The carriage, equipped with Bosch appliances, will host a number of culinary performances given by great interpreters of Italian cuisine.
At 12.00 there will be a showcooking featuring "Cous Cous with Sea Potatoes", followed at 13.00 by "Pitta of crumbled potato with tuna and black olives" and at 14.00 by a workshop for little ones as chefs called “Facciamo le orecchiette” (Let’s make orecchiette). Activities continuing at 15.00 with the showcooking organized in collaboration with Insal'Arte dedicated to "Tuna with potatoes, beans and mesclun pesto" and at 16.00, to the presentation of “La norma dell’avvocato di Pierfrancesco Clemente” (Pasta alla Norma by the lawyer Pierfrancesco Clemente), the plate selected in the contest by Unaricettaperlavita.Donnamoderna.com. The initiative brings together photos, videos and social contributions that will become part of the largest collection of experiences and best practices by women on the network and shareable on social media with the hashtag #unaricettaperlavita. Filmmakers of the three most beautiful recipes selected by the contest for the stage of Bari, will receive a gift of food products offered by Masseria Potenti.
Aboard ExpoExpress there will also be an area dedicated to the Lega del Filo d'Oro, supporting partner of ExpoExpress.
The next stages of ExpoExpress
After Bari, ExpoExpress will make a stop in the station of Milano Centrale, and then continue its journey through Italy until December 12, 2014, passing through Genoa, Trieste, Rome, Turin, Bologna, Florence, Pisa Centrale, Milano Porta Garibaldi, Naples and Reggio Calabria.
